Taiwan has got two major international airports: Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) and Kaohsiung, Taiwan Airport (KHH).

Taiwan has got two major international airports. One of them is Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), located in Taipei, the other is Kaohsiung, Taiwan Airport (KHH).

The airlines that are related with Kaohsiung, Taiwan Airport are China Airlines, EVA Airways, Dragonair and Japan Asia Airways. The airport at Taipei is the most important one among the two. The airlines associated with this international airport are American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Delta, Korean Air, China Airlines, EVA Airways, Japan Asia Airways, Northwest, Thai Air and the United.

China Airlines is the Republic of China's flag carrier, as well as EVA Airways, a private airline established in the early 1990s. Both airlines have direct flights to many destinations around the world.

With effect from July 4th, 2008 Air China has commenced regular direct flights from Beijing to Taipei and Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It has been over 60 years since the last time there were regular direct flights between mainland China and Taiwan.
